Carrots' Book Recommendations
Mahatma Gandhi once said "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever". While Carrots do not expect the grim reaper to pay her a visit tomorrow, she does have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
Carrots aspire to learn something new everyday. On weekday mornings, the quest for knowledge begins during breakfast. As she gobbles down her 3 eggs, she watches a random informative Youtube video. No specific theme in mind. Whatever video clip that catches her eye.
After breakfast, she will spend 1/2 hour reading a book. Carrots love reading. In the words of Captain America, "I can do this all day".
In this post, Carrots will recommend books that she have read in the past. Books that receive high Carrots Ratings (or Strawberry Ratings.....since this blog doesn't supply Carrots icons).
Sapiens. A Brief History of Humankind

| Carrots Book Rating: 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓 |
Every page in this book is jammed packed with compelling insights about man kind. From the rise of Homo Sapiens to the mass extinction of fauna induced by the behaviour of hunter gathers. How the agricultural revolution shaped the behaviour of Sapiens that had such a catastrophic impact to our health and behaviour. Most non fiction books only dwell into a few topics. This book, however, brought forth a tsunami of thought provoking information that will transform our preconceived notions about human behaviour.
With a treasure trove of ideas and information in the library, it's no wonder Carrots spend insane amounts of her time buried in books.
